Hi! I'm Melissa, a Dallas native, who loves business bookkeeping and creating things with my hands and also, eating croissants. Seriously, I need a croissant.

In 2012, I launched my creative passion into a business, EcoSewn, where I sell high-quality and sustainable fabrics and supplies to the sewing community. During the early part of this business, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with lots of other creative small businesses. While talking to these creatives, I saw how my business acumen, acquired from over 14 years in the restaurant accounting and management industry, had not only helped me start my business, but had also given me the skills to understand the financial side of the creative business.

And thus, the desire to help other creatives and small business owners manage and understand their numbers gave birth to Able Endeavors, my bookkeeping and consulting company.  I am so happy to be able to assist others in growing their business and see that financial reports don't have to be scary. Instead, understanding your financials can be down-right empowering.

As a Xero Certified Advisor, I am able to setup and manage your business’s books with ease. As a Profit First Professional and LivePlan advisor, I use your financials to create plans to finally hire that team you need to take your business to the next level, to purchase additional equipment to up your production and most importantly, to take home more profit.
